Arthritis Overview

Arthritis- Most common type of joint disease. It is a degenerative disorder with inflammation of the joints which affects mainly knee joints, elbows, ankles, shoulder, spine etc. the most common type of arthritis is osteoarthritis which is a type of degenerative arthritis. other type includes- rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, juvenile arthritis etc.

common signs and symptoms

• 1. deep ache joint pains-aggravated by extensive use
• 2. reduce range of motion
• 3. crepitus
• 4. stiffness mainly in the morning
• 5. swelling of the joint.
